Angus Nichol is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping people recover from injury, improve their performance, and stay active in all aspects of life. With a strong interest in sports and rehabilitation, Angus provides evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs and goals.
Angus completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours Class I) at the University of Newcastle, during which he gained extensive experience as a sports trainer for the Newcastle Jets and several local soccer clubs.
He also worked alongside elite athletes during his placement as a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Newcastle Knights. During his studies, Angus conducted research into hamstring injuries in elite basketball players at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), further developing his expertise in injury management and prevention.
Angus is also trained in Dry Needling, adding to his toolkit for effective rehabilitation and pain relief. Whether working with athletes or the general community, he is committed to guiding patients through recovery and helping them return to the activities they love.
